President and CEO G. Daryn Russell proudly announces the promotion of Cary Williams as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial and Operating Officer of CBC Bank. Throughout her many years in the banking industry, Mrs. Williams has held various leadership positions in accounting and operations. Her responsibilities have included internal audit, loan analysis, balance sheet management, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, interest rate risk planning, regulatory relations, and shareholder reporting. In Mrs. Williams most recent role with CBC Bank, she served as Senior Vice President and Manager of Operations, Accounting, IT and Compliance.

Cary holds a double business major in Accounting & Finance from the VSU Harley Langdale College of Business and is a graduate of the University of Georgia Banking School, Class of 2004. Growing up in a small farming town, she learned valuable experience working in her family business performing various bookkeeping and accounting roles. In addition, during college, Cary worked at two different CPA firms as a Staff Accountant performing audits, tax returns, and numerous bookkeeping activities. With her expansive background and knowledge, we are excited to have her in this position of leadership at CBC Bank.
Williams is also a very involved community member. She currently serves on the Highland Christian Academy school board, has completed the Dale Carnegie course, and is a long-time member of her local church. She enjoys gardening, camping, outdoor activities, and spending time with family. She currently resides with her husband and two children in Barney, GA.
